Barcelona could move for Wolverhampton Wanderers attacker Adama Traore if Ousmane Dembele does not sign a new deal, according to a report.

Barcelona could reportedly attempt to re-sign Wolverhampton Wanderers attacker Adama Traore if Ousmane Dembele does not sign a new contract with the club.

Dembele's deal at Camp Nou is due to expire at the end of June, and the France international is thought to be leaning towards leaving the Catalan giants on a free transfer.

According to Sport, if the World Cup winner leaves in January or this summer then Barcelona could make a move to bring Traore back to the club.

The Spain international came through the youth system at the La Liga club, making four appearances for their first team, scoring once, before leaving for Aston Villa in 2015.

Traore has made 20 appearances for Wolves during the 2021-22 campaign but is yet to register a goal or an assist for Bruno Lage's side.

There remains widespread speculation surrounding his future, with Tottenham Hotspur believed to be interested in signing the Spaniard before the end of the January transfer window.

Traore, also believed to be on Liverpool's shortlist of transfer targets, now has less than 18 months left to run on his contract at Molineux.
