Alberto Aquilani to join AC Milan

Liverpool midfielder Alberto Aquilani will reportedly join AC Milan in a £3m deal this week.

The 27-year-old suffered a succession of injuries following his move to Liverpool in 2009, and spent loan spells at Juventus and Milan.

It was understood that Liverpool wanted £7m for the Italian, but according to talkSPORT, the midfielder will move for just £3m.

Aquilani has 21 international caps for Italy.
