Liverpool midfielder Alberto Aquilani has revealed that he plans to sign for AC Milan soon.
The Italy international moved to Anfield from Roma for £17m in 2009, but was sent to Juventus on loan last season after making only 18 appearances for Liverpool.
Juventus failed to offer the 27-year-old a permanent contract, however, and the player returned to Liverpool without the prospect of first-team football.
"I am close to joining Milan," he told Gazzetta dello Sport this week.
Liverpool continue their season campaign with a Carling Cup clash against Exeter on Wednesday, August 24.
