The agent of Swansea City midfielder Joe Allen has insisted that his client has not handed in a transfer request at the Liberty Stadium.
Former Swansea boss Brendan Rodgers is reportedly keen to be reunited with the Wales international at his new club Liverpool, with rumours suggesting that a £10m bid may soon be lodged.
That speculation has led to claims that Allen is desperate to join Rodgers at Anfield and would go as far as requesting a transfer to make the deal possible.
However, representative Glenn Corcoran has strongly dismissed those claims by telling Wales Online: "Joe has not handed in a transfer request of any kind."
Allen, 22, joined the Swans in 1999 as a trainee.
