Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how quadruple-chasing Liverpool could line up for Saturday's Premier League showdown with top-four hopefuls Tottenham Hotspur.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is again expected to rotate his quadruple-chasing squad when the Reds welcome Tottenham Hotspur to Anfield on Saturday.

Klopp's side were given a tougher time than expected in midweek against Villarreal, requiring a second-half fightback following an out-of-sorts opening 45 minutes to book their place in the final of the Champions League.

With every game from now until the season a must-win if Liverpool are to achieve an unprecedented quadruple, there are unlikely to be wholesale changes from the manager, but the more regular switches are expected.

One of those is likely to be Luis Diaz, whose half-time introduction at El Madrigal was widely credited with inspiring the turnaround as he replaced Diogo Jota.

It would not be a surprise to see Jota start again this weekend having only played 45 minutes in Spain, with Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane both playing the full 90 in midweek.

However, with one eye potentially on next weekend's FA Cup final with Chelsea too, Klopp may instead view Tuesday's match against Aston Villa as a better opportunity to rest any tired legs, keeping Salah and Mane in the fold for this one.

Roberto Firmino is closing in on a return to fitness, having travelled with the team to Villarreal in midweek, but he did not make the squad for that match and is not expected to feature on Saturday either.

Liverpool's midfield in particular experienced a game of two halves in midweek, but even without that factor Klopp will have likely brought Jordan Henderson back into the fold for this game in order to keep his squad as fit as possible.

At the back, Joel Matip will continue his role as Premier League centre-back alongside Virgil van Dijk, with Ibrahima Konate - still unbeaten as a Liverpool player - being reserved for European games on the whole of late.

Behind them, Alisson Becker has already kept 20 clean sheets this season, and should he record shutouts in each of Liverpool's four remaining games then he would equal Petr Cech's record single-season tally.

Liverpool possible starting lineup: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Van Dijk, Robertson; Henderson, Fabinho, Thiago; Salah, Mane, Diaz
