Luis Suarez: 'Liverpool's best is yet to come'

Luis Suarez insists that the "best is yet to come" from Liverpool, despite already sitting third in the Premier League table after 10 games.

Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has insisted that the "best is yet to come" from the Merseyside outfit following their positive start to the Premier League season.

Brendan Rodgers's side currently sit third in the league table after picking up 20 points from 10 games, leaving them five points adrift of leaders Arsenal.

"We're doing well right now but we need to carry on that form into the Christmas period," Suarez told Match magazine.

"I think our best is yet to come, which hopefully means well for the end of the season and our chances of making next season's Champions League. That's one of our aims."

Suarez has netted six goals in five appearances in the top flight since returning from a 10-match ban in September.
