Brendan Rodgers: 'Liverpool have finally found their rhythm'

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers believes that things are finally falling into place for the Reds after an indifferent first half to their Premier League season.

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has claimed that things are finally falling into place for the Reds after an indifferent first half to their Premier League season.

The Anfield outfit were languishing in mid-table in December, but have rallied in recent months to climb up the league and into fifth place.

Following their impressive 2-1 defeat of Manchester City on Sunday, Rodgers told BBC Sport: "The character of this team was questioned at the beginning of this season.

"We were just trying to find a rhythm and balance to the team, with little time and lots of new players. It hasn't just happened - they have worked hard, and believed in how they were working."

Liverpool are currently level on points with fourth-placed Arsenal - though this will change if the Gunners get a result against Everton this afternoon.
