Niall Quinn: 'Liverpool have great chance of winning Premier League title'

Niall Quinn believes that Liverpool have a "great chance" of winning the Premier League title if they solve their defensive issues.

Former Republic of Ireland international Niall Quinn believes that Liverpool have a "great chance" of winning the Premier League title this season.

The Reds, who have not won a league title for over 23 years, are currently four points behind leaders Chelsea in the table.

"They are playing brilliant football," Quinn told talkSPORT. "They have got some problems at the back, but if they iron that out and start keeping clean sheets, not only are they right in it, they have a great chance of winning it."

The Merseyside outfit have a three-point cushion in fourth place following their late 3-2 victory over Fulham at Craven Cottage last night.
