Several bookmakers slash the odds on Rafael Benitez making a return to Liverpool this summer.

Several bookmakers have shortened the odds on offer regarding a potential managerial return for Rafael Benitez to Liverpool.

Reports this afternoon have claimed that current boss Kenny Dalglish has decided to resign from the role following what has been regarded as a poor season in the Premier League.

The club have yet to pass any comment on that speculation, with talks between Dalglish and the owners expected to take place shortly.

This has resulted in Spaniard Benitez being linked with a return to Anfield. Many bookmakers have slashed the odds of that happening down to 4/1.

Benitez was in charge of the Reds for six years up until 2010.
