Simon Mignolet: 'No better than Luis Suarez, Daniel Sturridge'

Simon Mignolet feels that Liverpool have one of football's best centre-forward partnerships in Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge.

Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet has insisted that there are no better strike partnerships than the one that Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge have formed at Anfield.

The duo have scored nine Premier League goals apiece this term to help the Reds move up to second in the table.

"I come across them every day in training and I don't think there is a better partnership than the two of them," Mignolet told Sky Sports News. "They can produce a lot of goals and hopefully they can keep doing that."

Both centre-forwards scored during last weekend's Merseyside derby at Goodison Park, which ended in a 3-3 draw.
