Liverpool reportedly have no plans to open an investigation into an incident thought to involve Raheem Sterling inhaling a 'legal high'.
A video emerged during the Reds' 2-0 win over Newcastle United on Monday evening of Sterling appearing to take in nitrous oxide through a balloon.
Manager Brendan Rodgers claimed that a professional sportsman should not behave in that way and insisted that he will speak to the 20-year-old England international.
However, according to Sky Sports News, the Premier League club has no plans to investigate the footage.
Meanwhile, Liverpool chief executive Ian Ayre has insisted that he expects Sterling to stay at the club for a "long time", but confirmed that contract talks have been put on hold.
