Swansea City midfielder Leon Britton has suggested that Joe Allen may consider returning to the club from Liverpool.
Allen, who left the Swans to move to Anfield in 2012, is yet to fully establish himself as a regular starter under manager Jurgen Klopp.
The midfielder's contract expires at the end of the 2016-17 season, and Britton has revealed that the Wales international "misses" Swansea.
"He's maybe had a bit of a tough time at Liverpool with some of the fans, but he's played well recently," Britton told talkSPORT.
"He's a very good player. I know he misses Swansea and home so it'll be interesting to see what happens because I know his contract's running out."
Allen spent five years of his senior career playing for the Welsh outfit.
