Liverpool striker Iago Aspas has promised to come back an improved player once he recovers from a thigh injury.
The 26-year-old Spaniard is closing in on a return to action following a /footballfour-week spell on the sidelines.
Aspas is keen to use his time wisely off the pitch in order to make an impact when he comes back to the first-team squad at Anfield.
"Not playing is frustrating, but I can take advantage of this stoppage, and try to get back to playing as soon as possible," he told the club's official website.
"I think I can improve; I am happy with the team's level but not so much individually because I think I can do a lot better.
"First I want to recover from my injury and afterwards I can use my qualities better and exploit them better as a centre-forward."
Aspas joined Liverpool for around £7m from Celta Vigo over the summer but failed to score in each of his first six games for the Reds.
