Tuesday's Liverpool transfer talk news roundup: Paulo Dybala, Fabinho, Georginio Wijnaldum

Sports Mole rounds up the latest transfer talk for Liverpool on Tuesday, December 8.

The summer transfer window has now closed and attention will begin to turn to January for Premier League champions Liverpool.

Jurgen Klopp's side brought in Thiago Alcantara, Diogo Jota and Kostas Tsimikas during the summer, making for one of their busier transfer windows in the last couple of years.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest news on possible comings and goings from Anfield.

Tuesday morning's Liverpool transfer talk news roundup:

Juventus forward Paulo Dybala 'offered to big six'

Juventus forward Paulo Dybala is reportedly ready to join a Premier League club during the summer transfer window.

After Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur failed to sign the Argentina international in 2019, the 27-year-old went on to become a key player under Maurizio Sarri.

However, it has been a different story since Andrea Pirlo's arrival, with Dybala contributing just one goal from 10 appearances in all competitions.

According to 90 min, Dybala's representatives have informed the top six clubs in England that he is prepared to consider a move to the Premier League.

Just 19 months remain on the attacker's contract, giving United, Spurs, Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester City and Arsenal an opportunity to sign him for a cut-price fee.

The financial implications of the coronavirus pandemic may result in Dybala needing to take a pay cut, a factor in why a move to England has not materialised in the past.

Fabinho, Georginio Wijnaldum 'set for new Liverpool deals'

Liverpool duo Fabinho and Georginio Wijnaldum are reportedly both in line for new deals at Anfield.

Fabinho has often been deployed in the heart of defence for the Reds amid their injury crisis this term, and the Brazilian has put in consistent performances for Jurgen Klopp's champions since arriving from Monaco.

Wijnaldum, meanwhile, is now in the final year of his Anfield deal and has been linked with a move to Barcelona, where he would reunite with former Netherlands manager Ronald Koeman.

According to The Guardian, Liverpool are hoping to tie Fabinho and Wijnaldum down to new deals as a matter of urgency, with the former under contract at Anfield until 2023.

The report claims that Fabinho is set for a significant pay hike in a new deal which will run until 2025 or 2026, but Wijnaldum is still unsure where his future lies and is yet to be convinced that he will have an important role to play at the club.

Fabinho and Wijnaldum both played the full 90 minutes in Liverpool's 4-0 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday, with the latter notching up the Reds' second goal in front of 2,000 fans.
