Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker will make his return from a calf injury against Manchester United this weekend, according to a report.

Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker will reportedly make his return from a calf injury in Sunday's Premier League clash with Manchester United at Old Trafford.

The Brazil international has been on the sidelines since tearing his calf on the opening night of the 2019-20 Premier League season against Norwich City.

Adrian - signed on a free over the summer - has been pressed into action between the sticks, but the former West Ham United stopper has only kept two clean sheets in 11 appearances for Jurgen Klopp's side.

According to The Telegraph, Alisson has now completed the final stage of his recovery and has been declared fit to take on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side on Sunday afternoon.

The 27-year-old was outstanding for the Merseyside giants during his first season at the club - keeping 27 clean sheets in 51 appearances in all competitions.

Liverpool have won all eight of their Premier League matches this season to top the table by eight points from second-placed Manchester City.
