Oldham Athletic chairman Simon Corney believes that his side are capable of beating Liverpool in the fourth round of the FA Cup.

Oldham Athletic chairman Simon Corney is confident that his side can shock Liverpool in their FA Cup fourth-round tie.

The Reds travel to the League One outfit later this month after they secured a 2-1 win over Mansfield Town last night, while Oldham snatched a place in the next round courtesy of a 3-2 victory over Nottingham Forest.

"It's nice for the fans to bring a club like Liverpool to us because I think we've got a chance, I really do," Corney told BBC Radio Manchester.

Oldham lost 5-1 to Liverpool at Anfield in the third round of the competition last season.
