Rudi Garcia: 'Salomon Kalou going nowhere'

Lille coach Rudi Garcia insists that Salomon Kalou is still a part of his plans at the Ligue 1 club.

Lille coach Rudi Garcia has insisted that Salomon Kalou will not be leaving the club in January.

The former Chelsea striker has been linked with a move away from the French club, with Queens Park Rangers reportedly interested in a loan deal.

"I want to keep everyone and if we could hire an additional forward it would be better," Garcia told L'Equipe. "I talked to Salomon and I told him what I just told you.

"He is a man of great value who has huge potential, but indeed we expect him to be more decisive."

Kalou, who moved to Lille on a free transfer from Stamford Bridge over the summer, has scored three goals in 17 games this season.
