Leicester City have announced that they have signed striker Shinji Okazaki on a four-year contract from Bundesliga club Mainz 05.
The 29-year-old, whose move is subject to the Japan international securing a work permit and getting international clearance from FIFA, is the Foxes' third signing of the summer, following deals for Robert Huth and Christian Fuchs.
The striker told the club's website: "I'm very happy to be here. To play in the Premier League is a dream. Last season the crowd were amazing and the players responded.
"I hope to show everyone what I can do. I'm excited to find out what I can do in this league. I will try to make lots of goals for the supporters."
Okazaki scored 12 goals in 32 appearances for Mainz last season.
