Leicester City want Watford's Troy Deeney to replace Jamie Vardy?

A report claims that Leicester City will move for Watford striker Troy Deeney if Jamie Vardy leaves for Arsenal.

Leicester City will reportedly move for Watford striker Troy Deeney if Jamie Vardy leaves for Arsenal this summer.

Vardy, who hit 24 Premier League goals last season, has been strongly linked with a move to the Emirates over the last couple of days.

It has been claimed that the England international will decide his future on Monday afternoon, and according to The Telegraph, Premier League champions Leicester will look to bring Deeney to the club should Vardy depart.

The 27-year-old, who has been at Watford since 2010, struck 13 Premier League goals during the 2015-16 campaign. It is understood that Leicester would have to part with £15m to bring the striker to the King Power Stadium.
