Leicester City have signed Ahmed Musa from CSKA Moscow on a four-year contract, subject to Premier League and Football Association approval.
The 23-year-old scored 13 goals in 30 Russian Premier League games last season to fire CSKA to their domestic title and leaves the club having netted 53 times in 164 appearances in all competitions.
It is understood that the deal is a record for Premier League champions Leicester, who are believed to have parted with just over £16.5m to bring the Nigerian international to English football.
"I feel very happy joining Leicester City, for me it's one of the best clubs and I feel very happy. I joined because it's one of the best clubs in the Premier League and they are like a family. That's why I joined Leicester City and I'm very excited," Musa told Leicester's official website.
"I look forward to seeing the fans in the new season and I will do my best to make them happy."
Musa has become Leicester's fourth signing of the summer following the arrivals of Ron-Robert Zieler, Luis Hernandez and Nampalys Mendy.
