Report: Neil Lennon would welcome Leicester City's interest in manager hunt

Bolton Wanderers boss Neil Lennon is reportedly open to taking on the job as Leicester City's new manager.

Bolton Wanderers boss Neil Lennon is reportedly open to the possibility of returning to Leicester City as manager.

The Northern Irishman is believed to be a strong candidate for the position, which was made vacant by Nigel Pearson on Tuesday.

The club's Thai owners sacked their coach of four years reportedly because of a recent racist sex tape that involved Pearson's son James and two other Leicester players, all of whom have since been dismissed by the club.

The Foxes are understood to be keen to appoint a new manager swiftly, and according to ESPN, Lennon is open to considering the Premier League job.

The 44-year-old, who became Bolton boss last year following his departure from Celtic, played for Leicester between 1996 and 2000.
