Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri hits out at referee Mike Dean for failing to rule out a late Sam Vokes goal in the 1-0 defeat to Burnley.

Claudio Ranieri has criticised referee Mike Dean for failing to spot a handball infringement in the build-up to Burnley's late winner over Leicester City.

The Premier League clash at Turf Moor appeared to be heading for a stalemate, until the Wales international hooked in Michael Keane's knockdown from a corner three minutes from time.

Replays showed that Leicester's players had every right to appeal the decision to let the goal stand, however, as the ball hit Vokes's hand before he turned to bury the only goal of the game in the 1-0 home win.

Asked after the match whether he thought it was a handball, Ranieri told BBC Sport: "Not think. Was! It was there for everybody [to see] - the television - but not the referee. He is the boss, didn't see and we lost the match. We have to react as soon as possible."

Leicester, who are now just two points clear of the relegation zone after winning one of their last eight games, return to action next Sunday with a home match against Manchester United.
