Leicester City manager Nigel Pearson is reportedly close to signing a new contract with the Premier League club.
Foxes vice president Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha recently revealed that he was keen to tie the 50-year-old down to a fresh deal at the King Power Stadium.
Pearson, who guided Leicester to the Championship title last season, is due to be a free agent this summer.
However, he is now expected to put pen to paper on a contract extension by the end of the week, according to Sky Sports News.
Pearson returned to Leicester in 2011 after a previous two-year spell at the club between 2008 and 2010.
