Nigel Pearson hails Leicester City belief

Leicester City manager Nigel Pearson praises his team for their 3-1 victory over Blackpool in the Championship.

Leicester City manager Nigel Pearson has said that his team showed belief to beat Blackpool in their Championship match this afternoon.

The Foxes came from a goal down to win 3-1 at the King Power Stadium and maintain their seven point lead at the top of the table.

"We played a difficult team today but found a way to win," the club's official Twitter page quotes him as saying.

"There was lots expected from us in a game like this, but it is never straightforward. We showed belief in how we play to get a result.

"We couldn't get an early goal today, but we came from behind to win. The players showed trust in each other and in our methods."

Today's result means that Leicester are unbeaten in their last 16 league matches.
