Leeds boss Neil Warnock plans to bring in a number of new faces to Elland Road this summer.

Leeds United boss Neil Warnock has revealed that he plans to bring in a number of new players this summer in order to shake up his squad.

Despite an upturn in fortunes at the start of Warnock's reign in February, the Yorkshire club have since failed to make the Championship play-offs following a poor end to the season.

However, chairman Ken Bates is now expected to give the manager money to boost his side.

"The chairman promised me he would try his hardest to get me the finance," said Warnock.

"Hopefully we can start straight away. The fans realise this is their best chance with me. We have got a great chance in the summer - I am really looking forward to it.

"I want to go everywhere knowing that we can beat anybody. I want to know that every time I go into the dressing room."

Leicester City defender Sol Bamba, Derby County midfielder Paul Green and Queens Park Rangers goalkeeper Paddy Kenny are three of the names who have been linked with moves to Elland Road.
