Leicester City are reportedly showing interest in West Bromwich Albion's Matheus Pereira, whose future is in doubt after the club's relegation from the Premier League.

Leicester City have reportedly expressed their interest in signing West Bromwich Albion playmaker Matheus Pereira, amid speculation over the Brazilian's future.

Pereira is amongst the candidates for Player of the Month for April after he registered four goals and two assists in the Baggies' four Premier League matches.

Despite Sam Allardyce's side's relegation from the top flight, the 25-year-old has scored 10 league goals and provided five assists for his teammates this season.

The Express reports that Leeds United and RB Leipzig, in addition to the Foxes, are amongst the clubs keeping an eye on the availability of Pereira, whose future was not to be discussed before the status of the club was confirmed for next season.

Now that West Brom have been relegated from the Premier League, the winger's future at the Hawthorns is in doubt as his performances this season have caught the attention of top-flight clubs.

Pereira arrived in the West Midlands in 2019 and he was a vital player in helping the club win promotion from the Championship last season, when he produced 20 assists in 42 appearances.
