Leeds United have reportedly moved closer to securing a deal for Derby County forward Matej Vydra.
Vydra finished top of the Championship goalscoring charts last season, but Derby are making cutbacks this summer and are prepared to sell the Czech Republic international.
Leeds are keen on pushing through a deal for the 26-year-old and according to The Telegraph, the Yorkshire giants could be edging towards the signing.
Derby boss Frank Lampard has opted to leave Vydra out of the club's pre-season trip to Tenerife while negotiations are ongoing regarding the player's exit from Pride Park.
The report suggests that should Leeds tempt Vydra into a switch to Elland Road, Derby will receive a fee in the region of £11m.
