El-Hadji Diouf happy with Leeds United stay

Leeds United striker El-Hadji Diouf insists that he does not want to leave the Championship club.

Leeds United striker El-Hadji Diouf has insisted that he is happy to stay at the club.

It was recently reported that the 32-year-old former Senegal international was seeking a move away from Elland Road.

"I don't know where all the talk about me leaving has come from," BBC Sport quotes Diouf as saying.

"I'm happy here because the fans have always shown me a lot of love and it's a great club."

Diouf made his return from suspension and injury on Saturday as he came off the bench during Leeds's 1-1 draw with Sheffield Wednesday in the Championship.
