Neil Redfearn vows to carry on as normal at Leeds United

Leeds United boss Neil Redfearn insists that he will carry on with his job as normal until the club approach him about a new contract.

Leeds United head coach Neil Redfearn has insisted that he will continue his job as normal until the club approach him about a new contract.

The 49-year-old had previously stated that he was still in the dark about the likelihood of an extension to his deal.

Redfearn believes that talks over his future will wait until the conclusion of Massimo Cellino's ownership ban on May 3, which is the day after the Championship season ends.

"The president's away so things are on hold, I'd imagine," he told the Yorkshire Evening Post.

"I just keep doing what I've been asked to do. It's going well and you just want to do as well as you can for the club."

Leeds host Nottingham Forest at Elland Road on Saturday.
