Leeds United boss Neil Redfearn seeks talks with Massimo Cellino

Leeds United boss Neil Redfearn says that he intends to speak to club president Massimo Cellino about his future at Elland Road.

Leeds United head coach Neil Redfearn has stated that he intends to speak with president Massimo Cellino regarding his future at the club.

The 49-year-old's deal at Elland Road will expire after the final match of the Championship season on Saturday, against Rotherham United.

Cellino has hinted that he is considering Redfearn's position, but the Leeds boss says that he is keen to remain at the club.

"I've got to sit down with the owner, see what he thinks and what he wants to do. If everything suits, we'll go forward," Redfearn told reporters.

"I don't think anything has been decided either way. The most important thing is Saturday's game.

"I've got no divine right to be the manager of Leeds United, but I'd love to be in charge next season."

Redfearn became the third manager to take charge of Leeds this season when he was appointed in November, following Dave Hockaday and Darko Milanic.
