Leeds United owner Massimo Cellino is reportedly planning to make drastic cuts to staff members in order to bring down the wage bill at the Championship outfit.
The Italian won his appeal against the Football League to complete his 75% takeover of Elland Road last month.
The businessman was initially blocked by the league after he was found guilty of tax evasion in his homeland.
According to the Daily Star, it has now emerged that Cellino is planning to sack or make redundant at least 70 members of staff working at the club's stadium and Thorp Arch training base.
Reports have claimed that the Italian, who will wait until the end of the season to make the cuts, will hold talks with manager Brian McDermott next week before making a decision on whether to dismiss him or not.
