Lazio target Lukas Podolski

Serie A club Lazio are preparing to submit a January transfer offer for Germany international Lukas Podolski.

The 26-year-old currently plys his trade with Bundesliga side Koln.

Despite being one of Koln's key players, Podolski was recently quoted as saying that he could be tempted by a move away from the club.

Lazio coach Edy Reja is keen to boost his attacking options and would like to partner Podolski up front with his international teammate Miroslav Klose.
