Lazio midfielder Hernanes has insisted that he remains committed to the Aquile despite being left out of the squad to face Genoa last weekend.
Hernanes took no part in the 2-0 defeat despite being fit and available for selection, with Lazio coach Vladimir Petkovic opting for a change in personnel for their third game in seven days.
The Brazilian playmaker has been linked with a move away from Serie A to Paris Saint-Germain in recent weeks to salvage his chances of playing in next summer's World Cup, but he has gone on record this afternoon as declaring that he remains passionate about life at Lazio.
He told Lazio Style Radio: "I will give my all for Lazio until the very last day, in training and in matches.
"I'm a professional who is passionate about work. And I have never felt as good as I do right now.
"My contract? If the club think I deserve to stay then we will carry on together. There is plenty of time, I still have a year and a half left on my present agreement."
The 28-year-old has scored three times for Lazio this season in 11 appearances.
