Serie A champions Juventus have agreed personal terms with Julian Draxler and will now attempt to reach a deal with Schalke 04 for his transfer, according to reports.
However, the 21-year-old World Cup winner is still under contract at the Veltins Arena until 2018.
There is still some difference between the clubs' valuation of the player, with Juventus willing to offer around £18m and Schalke holding out for £25m, reports Goal.com.
"For me, an agreement is when three parties are good. Now we are at the stage where only Schalke and Juventus have to talk and, after that, we will see what happens," Draxler's agent, Roger Wittmann, is quoted as saying.
The deal is worth £2.6m a year, the report adds.
