Juventus have completed their first summer signing after agreeing a permanent deal with Atalanta BC for defender Federico Peluso.
The 29-year-old spent last season on loan with Antonio Conte's side, playing 30 times in all competitions as the Old Lady retained their Serie A title.
Conte has decided that the wing-back's performances were enough to secure a summer switch to Turin, with Juve confirming a £4.8m transfer in an official statement last night.
The confirmation on the club's official website read: "Juventus can announce that it has exercised the right to definitively acquire Federico Peluso from Atalanta.
"A payment of €4.8m will be paid over two years. The contract of employment will last until June 30, 2017."
Pelsuo is a versatile defender that primarily operates at left-wing back for Juve, and also has three caps for Italy after making Azzurri debut last summer.
