Massimo Carrera admits that Antonio Conte could step down from his role as the Juventus coach.

Juventus first-team coach Massimo Carrera has admitted that head coach Antonio Conte could leave the club at the end of the season.

The 49-year-old believes that Conte's nature to try to "improve himself all the time" could see him take on a new challenge elsewhere.

"Antonio has not spoken to either the president or [director-general Beppe] Marotta," ESPN quotes Carrera as saying.

"I'm sure they will make their considerations, but you'll have to ask that question to him. He is a winner and wants to improve himself all the time."

Conte was appointed the Juventus coach in 2011 and has led the Bianconeri to two successive Serie A titles.
