Scottish Premiership roundup: Inverness Caledonian Thistle stay top

Inverness CT restored their three-point cushion over Celtic with a 2-1 win at Kilmarnock in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday.

Celtic temporarily went joint-top of the Scottish Premiership with a 3-1 win over Hearts in the early kickoff.

Goals from Kris Commons, Anthony Stokes and Teemu Pukki gave Neil Lennon the victory ahead of their Champions League clash against AC Milan on Wednesday.

However, Inverness's victory over Kilmarnock ensured that they restored their three-point advantage having played a game more, with Billy McKay again finding the net.

There were wins for Aberdeen and Hibernian over Partick Thistle and St Johnstone respectively, while Motherwell moved into the top three with victory at St Mirren.

Results in full: Hearts 1-3 Celtic, Kilmarnock 1-2 Inverness CT, Partick Thistle 0-3 Aberdeen, St Johnstone 1-2 Hibernian, St Mirren 0-1 Motherwell
