Report: Sevilla want to re-sign Gary Medel

A report claims that Sevilla want to re-sign Chilean midfielder Gary Medel from Inter Milan in January.

Sevilla are reportedly interested in re-signing Inter Milan midfielder Gary Medel in January.

The Chilean international represented Sevilla between 2011 and 2013, before moving on to Cardiff City and latterly Inter, where he has been since the summer of 2014.

The midfielder made 44 appearances for Inter last season, but it is understood that he is now considered surplus to requirements at San Siro.

According to TodoMercadoWeb, Sevilla boss Unai Emery wants to bring the 28-year-old back to Estadio Ramon when the winter window opens.

Medel, who has 80 international caps to his name, cost Inter in the region of £10m last summer.
