Colombian midfielder Freddy Guarin targets long Inter Milan stay

Inter Milan midfielder Freddy Guarin says that he wants to stay at the club beyond the end of his new contract, which expires in the summer of 2017.

Inter Milan midfielder Freddy Guarin has said that he wants to stay at the club beyond the end of his new contract.

The 27-year-old signed a fresh three-and-a-half-year deal last month, but he is keen to remain at the at the San Siro beyond 2017.

"I have agreed a deal for another three years. I hope to sign another contract once that one's up", Guarin told reporters.

"I have not signed thinking that I will leave. I feel good here."

Guarin was heavily linked with a move to Juventus in January, before Inter pulled the plug on a potential swap deal that involved striker Mirko Vucinic.
