Fenerbahce: 'No bid for Wesley Sneijder'

Fenerbahce reject claims suggesting that they have made a bid for Inter Milan's Wesley Sneijder.

Fenerbahce have dismissed reports claiming that they have bid for Inter Milan midfielder Wesley Sneijder.

A Turkish newspaper suggested on Wednesday that Fenerbahce made an offer for the 29-year-old but the club have quickly rejected the claims.

According to Tuttosport, the statement read: "In relation to what appeared in Aksam, we must point out it is not completely true that Fenerbahce are interested in Sneijder.

"Every new signing will be announced through the club's official channels."

Sneijder has three years remaining on his contract at the San Siro.
