The agent of Lazio midfielder Antonio Candreva has denied that his client will join Inter Milan in the January transfer window.
It had been claimed that the Italian international had already agreed terms with Inter over a move at the start of 2016.
However, Federico Pastorello has insisted that the 28-year-old will not be swapping clubs at the mid-point of the Serie A season.
"I can refute the rumours that would have Candreva close to joining Inter. The player has a contract with Lazio [until 2018] and he will remain in Rome," Pastorello told FCInterNews.
"I have read the newspapers and heard these stories from various media organisations but there's nothing to them."
Candreva joined Lazio from Udinese in 2012 and has made more than 150 appearances for the Italian club in all competitions.
