Sunday's Serie A predictions including Inter Milan vs. Cagliari

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Sunday's Serie A fixtures, including Inter Milan vs. Cagliari.

After a 10th consecutive Serie A victory in midweek, champions-elect Inter Milan welcome struggling Cagliari to San Siro on Sunday, within touching distance of their first Scudetto for a decade.

The visitors, meanwhile, have lost their last three matches and remain embroiled in the fight against relegation, with games starting to run out.

We say: Inter Milan 2-0 Cagliari

The odds of Inter's winning run coming to a halt on Sunday are surely slim to negligible, as they have a fit and focused squad which has been efficiently grinding down Serie A opponents without much difficulty in the past few months.

Cagliari are in serious need of points to avoid demotion to the second tier, from where they last emerged in 2016, but can offer only a modest attacking threat and have been particularly ineffective on the road.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Juventus vs. Genoa (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Despite a morale-boosting win in midweek, third-placed Juventus cannot reasonably defend the Scudetto, but must continue the hard-fought battle for a Champions League place against Genoa on Sunday.

Though the hosts have accepted that they will relinquish their crown after a nine-year spell of Serie A dominance, they remain just three points clear of Napoli in fifth and will seek maximum points against a Rossoblu side still to secure safety.

We say: Juventus 3-1 Genoa

Though games against relatively modest opposition have often proved the downfall of Juventus this term, they should take care of business on Sunday, as all of their attacking options are back in action and eager to finish the season on a high.

Genoa may have lost just once in their last five games, but have often been overwhelmed by the occasion when visiting the black and white half of Turin, so expect the hosts to score at least twice at the Allianz Stadium.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Hellas Verona vs. Lazio (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Sixth-placed Lazio square off against Hellas Verona on Sunday afternoon looking to extend their winning streak in Serie A to four matches.

Meanwhile, Verona, who are eighth, sit 11 points adrift of the visitors, having recorded three defeats in their last five fixtures.

We say: Hellas Verona 1-2 Lazio

While attack-minded football is not their strongest quality, Verona will have to push for all three points from this contest. However, that may only play into Lazio's hands, who we expect to claim a narrow win at Stadio Marcantonio Bentegodi.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Roma vs. Bologna (Sunday, 5.00pm)

Having overcome domestic disappointment to gain a vital win in Europe during midweek, Roma host mid-table Bologna on Sunday, needing all three points to stay in the race for a top-four finish.

After previously enjoying successive wins, the visitors were beaten by runaway leaders Inter Milan last week, though sit safely near the centre of the Serie A standings with nine games left to play.

We say: Roma 1-1 Bologna

Far from convincing in their win over Ajax last time out, the pressure is beginning to weigh heavily upon the Roma players' shoulders, as their previously promising campaign is in danger of getting away from them.

The visitors can essentially play without consequence - with relegation a distant prospect and few observers expecting them to return to Emilia-Romagna with maximum points. Therefore, Bologna should take advantage of their hosts' defensive deficiencies to secure themselves a point.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Fiorentina vs. Atalanta (Sunday, 7.45pm)

As the race for a top four place intensifies, Atalanta BC come into their latest assignment - away to mid-table Fiorentina on Sunday evening - on a run of six wins from their last seven league games.

Despite their strong form, La Dea are still just two points clear of fifth-placed Napoli in the standings, so will be seeking victory in Florence, with their hosts having recently picked up just five points from a possible 15.

We say: Fiorentina 1-2 Atalanta BC

With the visitors' free-spirited attackers unlikely to be halted by Fiorentina's rearguard - which usually melts when facing the league's big boys - they can continue their winning streak in the traditional Sunday evening kickoff.

Though the Viola are still in need of points to secure Serie A football next term, it will be the Champions League-chasing Bergamaschi who are most dangerous in the final third, with their most potent weapons now in peak form.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.
