Lukas Podolski has said that he wants to become a 'legend' at Inter Milan, after completing his loan move to the club from Arsenal.
The German international will play for the Nerazzurri until the end of the season, having been strongly linked with a switch to the Italians over recent months.
"I'm grateful for the confidence the club has in me - and will try pay it back with strong performances," Podolski wrote on Twitter.
"I want to give a special thanks to coach Roberto Mancini who made a big effort for me to come to Inter, he made it an easy decision for me & also sports director Piero Ausilio who made this transfer happen.
"I hope to rank among club legends like Ronaldo, [Javier] Zanetti, [Jurgen] Klinsmann, [Andreas] Brehme, [Lothar] Matthaus and many others one day."
Podolski has made just one Premier League start for Arsenal this season.
