Inter Milan boss Roberto Mancini: 'I would take Italy job'

Inter Milan boss Roberto Mancini admits that he would find it difficult to turn down the Italy post if he were offered the position after Euro 2016.

Inter Milan boss Roberto Mancini has admitted that he would find it difficult to turn down the chance to take charge of the Italian national team.

Italy are currently coached by Antonio Conte, but are already on the lookout for a new leader as Conte prepares to join Chelsea following the conclusion of Euro 2016.

Mancini is currently in his second managerial spell with Inter Milan and has also taken charge of Fiorentina, Lazio, Manchester City and Galatasaray during a well-travelled career.

"Not everyone gets to coach the national team. Working there would be different from working as a [club] coach, but I think it could be enjoyable," Mancini told Premium Sport. "If it comes, if there's a chance, it's an assignment which you have to accept."

Inter currently sit fourth in the Serie A table, but they are seven points behind third-placed Roma with just three games left.
