Former Swansea City boss Francesco Guidolin has emerged as a potential candidate for the vacant managerial position at Inter Milan.
On Tuesday, Inter confirmed that they had parted ways with Frank de Boer after just 14 games in charge at San Siro and it was quickly reported that ex-Lazio chief Stefano Pioli was the frontrunner for the role.
However, according to Sports Illustrated, Guidolin is in the running to replace De Boer just weeks after he was sacked by Swansea.
It has been claimed that Guidolin will be interviewed for the job on Thursday, the same day as Inter's Europa League meeting with Southampton at St Mary's.
Guidolin won nine of his 25 matches in charge at the Liberty Stadium, but he is vastly experienced back in Italy having held over a dozen managerial positions.
