Burnley have reportedly been informed by Hull City that they will have to part ways with £20m in order to sign Sam Clucas.
Earlier this week, it was claimed that the Tigers had rejected a £10m offer for one of their key men, who impressed during their relegation campaign from the Premier League.
Manager Leonid Slutsky has openly acknowledged that he does not want to sell the 26-year-old, but according to The Sun, Hull have named their price.
Two years ago, Clucas cost Hull just £1.3m when they completed a deal with Chesterfield, and 96 appearances have been made during that time.
It remains to be seen whether Burnley are willing to double their offer for Clucas for a second time, but the Clarets have money available from the sales of Michael Keane and Andre Gray.
Sean Dyche's team began the campaign with a 3-2 victory over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge last weekend.
