Premier League side Hull City are reportedly keen to sign Georgios Samaras in January.
The Greek striker's contract with Celtic is due to expire next summer, which in turn could mean that he is available for a cut-price fee during the winter transfer window.
That has alerted Hull manager Steve Bruce, who is eager to bolster his attacking options in his side's bid for survival, according to The People.
The report added that Bruce made the trip up to Parkhead last week to watch the 28-year-old in action against Ajax in the Champions League.
Samaras previously spent two years in England between 2006 and 2008 with Manchester City.
