Andrew Robertson "looking forward" to Nottingham Forest test

Andrew Robertson admits that a rejuvenated and fresh Hull City are raring to go against Nottingham Forest on Saturday afternoon following a week on the training ground.

Hull City defender Andrew Robertson has claimed that his side will head to Nottingham Forest feeling fit and ready this weekend following their week-long rest.

The Tigers had no midweek game to prepare for following their draw against Blackburn Rovers, with all focus immediately switching to their City Ground showdown.

Robertson admits that he is relishing the clash, having been deemed fit by boss Steve Bruce, and is hoping that lessons have been learned from last time out.

"We're looking forward to the trip," he told the club's official website. "This has been one of the weeks when we haven't had a Tuesday game so it's been a little bit of a longer week than we are used to, but we're looking forward to it and we've trained well all week.

"The boys have had a few extra days to recover and that helps the more experienced boys with older legs. This full week has probably helped them get fresh again and hopefully that will show and we'll be right at it tomorrow.

"We've all spoken about the Blackburn game and obviously it's from a set piece again so we need to sort that out and try and be stronger in the air," added the Scottish international. Hopefully we'll do that and stop conceding silly goals."

Hull head to the Midlands sitting in fourth place in the Championship table.
