Steve Bruce expected luck to be against Hull City

Steve Bruce admits that he thought luck was against Hull City before they claimed a 2-2 draw with Fulham on Saturday.

Hull City manager Steve Bruce has admitted that he thought luck was against his side before they fought back to earn a 2-2 draw with Fulham on Saturday afternoon.

Late goals from Nikica Jelavic and Shane Long secured a point for Hull, who were unfortunate to find themselves behind after coming close to breaking the deadlock on a number of occasions.

"After conceding two quick goals, and hitting the crossbar and the post, we were thinking 'this isn't our day'," Bruce told reporters.

"We've had a really tough 12 minutes where we conceded 2 goals. As usual, the players have shown their resilience."

Hull are 13th in the table with three games remaining in their campaign.
