Hull City manager Steve Bruce has called on the club's supporters to "get on with it" regarding the club's possible rebranding to Hull Tigers.
The club's owner Assem Allam has formally requested for the name to be altered by sending a letter to the Football Association, despite angering a number of fans with his proposal.
"All I can say is that I'm repeating myself now," BBC Sport quotes Bruce as saying. "[The application] has been done, it's been lodged and I can ask of the supporters is to get behind the team," said Hull manager Bruce ahead of Saturday's home clash against Stoke.
"We're not going to hear the decision until April. As far as I'm concerned let's all get on with it and see what the FA come up with."
Protest group City Till We Die are planning to make their case known to the FA before a decision is made.
